A bright and well proportioned first floor flat offered with no onward chain. Positioned within the popular Marston area of Oxford, offering generous room sizes, a recently updated kitchen and the rare benefit of a sizeable garden for a property of this type.

Set back from the road, the property enjoys an elevated position with pleasant outlooks from the front and excellent natural light throughout. The accommodation has a practical and comfortable layout, with a spacious sitting room, well planned kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, making it well suited to first time buyers, investors, professionals, medics or academics looking for convenient access into Oxford and Headington.

One of the standout features is the garden, which is a particularly appealing asset for a flat in such a well connected location. Combined with good internal proportions, a fresh kitchen and strong local connectivity, the property offers a fantastic opportunity in an established Oxford setting.

Accommodation
The property is accessed via its own entrance and arranged across the first floor. The sitting room is a generous and light filled space, with a large window enjoying an open outlook and a feature fireplace adding character to the room.

The kitchen has been recently updated and is fitted with a range of shaker style units, wood effect worktops, metro tiled splashbacks, integrated oven and hob, space for appliances and a window allowing for plenty of natural light.

There are two bedrooms, both offering flexible space for sleeping, working from home or guest accommodation. The bathroom is fitted with a white suite including bath with shower attachment, wash hand basin and WC.

Externally, the property benefits from a large garden, a rare advantage for a flat in this area and ideal for those looking for outside space while remaining close to the city.

Location
Copse Lane is situated within the popular Marston area of Oxford, a location particularly favoured by medics, academics and professionals due to its excellent access to Oxford City, Headington and the John Radcliffe Hospital, together with the surrounding hospital network.

The property is within close proximity of St Joseph’s, New Marston and EF Academy, while Oxsrad Sports Centre, the recreation ground and Oxford City FC are all just a few minutes’ walk away. Everyday amenities are close at hand, including a doctors’ surgery, Co-op, chemist, café, eateries and a selection of local shops.

For leisure, the popular Victoria Arms public house sits on the banks of the River Cherwell and is just under a mile away, making it a pleasant walk on a summer’s evening. The area also offers easy access to Cowley Road and Headington for further restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops.

Transport links are excellent, with regular bus services, cycle routes, Thornhill Park and Ride, the A40 and M40 all easily accessible, providing convenient routes into Oxford and onward travel towards London.

In The Owners Own Words:
Some of my favourite things about the property are the garden (rare for such a well-located flat to have such a large garden), the light, high ceilings in the property, the view out from the front window and plenty of space in all of the rooms and the new kitchen. Location-wise, it was great for commuting into central Oxford or other parts of Oxford for work, with the benefit of the cycle path and plenty of buses making it really easy to get around. Easy access to the Cowley Road and Headington for restaurants, pubs and shops was really great. The local neighbourhood always felt safe with a good community feel, especially during Covid where there were volunteering groups and activities.
