In the vendors words:
I’ve had the pleasure of living in this charming 1850’s cottage over the past 15 years. It’s centrally heated and the wood burner guarantees a toasty home in the winter, and a cool home in the summer through its original flagstones in the living room.
I originally purchased the property for the plot, which has a larger than average cottage front and rear garden. The excellent privacy afforded by the trees and the fruit trees (plum, apple, crab apple and twisted hazelnut tree) have also provided a surplus of delicious seasonal fruit I’ve enjoyed sharing with my neighbours.
The large garden studio and shed has been an ideal space for work and hobbies. I have often considered using the ample space as an air B & B (water and electrics are already in). There is also potential to expand to the side of the main cottage, but both these projects are for future owners to explore!
I would highly recommend the friendly community and amenities available, in particular having the bus stop in front of the cottage and the station 5 minutes away. These have been incredibly useful for trips to Oxford, Witney and London.
I hope the next person to own End Cottage will be as happy as I have been and enjoy putting their own stamp on this beloved home.
