Substantial five-bedroom residence presented to the market in good decorative order internally, versatile living accommodation arranged over two floors. The property has been significantly extended to the side and would make a fantastic family home, benefitting from off street parking for several vehicles and a mature rear garden. Set on this key road with amenities a stone’s throw away including bus stop, convenience store, doctors surgery and primary & secondary school moments from the property.
Entrance hall, double living room, kitchen, bathroom, five first floor bedrooms, second reception room, off street parking for several vehicles, mature rear garden and garage for storage (not vehicle accessible)
Positioned on the slip road of this prime road on route to the centre of the village you will find a dentist/doctors surgery, banks and local supermarkets which are all within walking distance. As one of the largest villages in England the amenities come in good measure, a fine balance of semi-rural living and ample access to Oxford City. Kidlington has a range of cafes/restaurants and public houses to keep you entertained. With four primary schools, a secondary school, Oxford Airport and Oxford Parkway situated within minutes from the village. The growingly popular steak house Miller Carter is down the road and you are perfectly positioned for access to the A34 corridor to access Bicester village
In the owners words:
“The house is a beauty from the inside and outside. The style of the house is timeless classic elegant, it is bright and spacious in its layout. The rooms are well shaped and a good size. The walls are high. The kitchen looks stylish and has lots of storage, with its cupboards, countertops and extra cabinet and a separate Utility area with additional sink. It has a rangemaster cooker with 6 Gas plates to cook on, and three ovens, you can cook multiple dishes at the same time, saves time. One extra room downstairs for storage, or you could use it to rent it out to a student, to get some extra rental income. My favourite rooms are the living room, and the upper bigger child room which looks out to the Garden, where you can witness the seasons to change. Nice open view towards the West Kidlington school, which gives the impression to have a view towards a Park.
The Garden is a good size and not overly big. I enjoy the trees, which belong to West Kidlington School. My view reaches far, because no house is directly opposite from my home, which may would block the sunlight, and I do not have a house front in front of my window. You can check the Radon Gas UK Map online. We wanted to get out of the City, which caused us stress and is so crowded. We wanted more quality of Life and nature around us. We always loved Oxford City, which we associate with its higher education. We love its architecture and its history. We discovered Kidlington. We loved the layout of the Village, with its good connections, it is a safe area, and has everything you need in walking distance. We found it promises the perfect stress-free upbringing for our child, embedded in a still preserved Village Life, with nature surrounded, but with the modern necessities combined. You do not need a car, you can hop on a bus, while reading a book, to reach Oxford, stress free not to worry about to find a parking place.
