 In the owners words:
“My family and I have loved village life for the last 11 years, we moved to Chesterton after loving the feel and look of our house and the village itself. We carried out extensive improvements to make it a much loved family home and it was ideal for our office premises to allow my wife to work and be on hand for the children. We have made fantastic friends in and around the local villages and the Red Cow is the hub of our community along with the newly renovated Chesterton Hotel.

We have a new village hall and local football and rugby teams. There is a nine hole golf course being restructured at present and a new water park coming just up the road soon which we are sure will bring wonderful job opportunities for local villagers and Bicester in general. The Nursery and Chesterton School have been attended by all of our grandchildren and is a wonderful happy environment for the children to attend, all of our grandchildren have and had so much praise for both and made good friends and happy memories and our younger ones still do, there are now several secondary schools in the Bicester area too and they have good reputations and strict no bullying policies in place, our oldest grandson attends Bicester College and also has a very happy time there he also attends the local gym at Bicester sports centre opposite the school.

Within a short driving distance are the Tesco Superstore and famous Bicester Village Shopping Centre, a small but adequate Town Centre where Sainsburys has a large store, we have two train stations with great routes to London, Oxford City, Birmingham and many more, buses run regularly throughout town but are not currently regular in Chesterton but hopefully this will improve in the future and we mustn’t forget the new S&H coffee shop from Tuesday’s to Saturdays inside the Red Cow which has been a wonderful new addition for the village and beyond. We hope this gives you an insight as to what awaits you should you decide to make plans to move to the wonderful village of Chesterton and the great villagers who wait to welcome you as they did our family.“
