In the owners words:
"What first of all attracted us to Lashford Lane was the style of the house. It stood out from all the others and once inside we realised it had potential. We extended the kitchen immediately (as the plans were already in place) and created a cozy but contemporary open plan kitchen /family room. It’s a fantastic space to entertain and enjoy family mealtimes.
The open plan has enabled us to be together as a family even when someone is cooking. There are plenty of options if you want quiet time as there are two further rooms downstairs (we currently use one as a bedroom and the other as a snug). The accommodation and space is flexible and that is something that was also an attraction.
The garden is an amazing space with so much room. Again to entertain and enjoy outdoor activities. Plenty of room for flowers and vegetables. The greenhouse is invaluable as well as the beautiful new shed and huge workshop. Both have electricity and the workshop is insulated and has a solid concrete floor. The open countryside is literally on your doorstep at the end of the garden. Access to the main A34 and A420 are literally around the corner, as well as the market town of Abingdon a 10 minute drive away and Oxford City 15 minutes. Both are served by regular buses.
Lashford Lane is a lovely community to live amongst. You have the best of both worlds. With the countryside on your doorstep but all the amenities never too far away."
