In the words of the seller:
Having brought up four children here I have loved and still love this house. The space – which we have added to, the facilities of garage and off street parking. Not least the convenience of being able to get to almost anywhere from the top of the road, - a day out in London, flights for holidays, or a trip to the city centre for shopping or work. I worked at the Churchill Hospital – just a 15 minute walk away.
The house itself has been a joy – so much space to enjoy together or space to be alone, the garden which our grandchildren still love (they don’t want us to move!) Our house was nicknamed Walton Towers by some of our friends, the Tardis by others. The latter because the outside belies the amount of accommodation within. We have had parties galore, seen three of our children married from here, and have always had room to take in various waifs and strays! Latterly it has been our source of income too, as we have welcomed hosts of students from all over the world as paying guests. While it will be sad to say goodbye, it is time for others, maybe another family, to enjoy this lovely house.
